Founder / Owner / Licensed Massage Therapist
After having a medical background, ranging from clinical care to medical management, for almost 30 years, I have found it most rewarding working with individuals one on one. I became focused on specializing in caring for the unique needs of the individuals I was working with. That profound passion led me to Massage Therapy & Energy Healing 18 years ago. While I enjoyed my medical career, I kept returning to my healing work because nothing brings me more joy and fulfillment. The rest is history!
Our name, Na Holistic Wellness, was inspired by the healing properties of Salt and I include salt in multiple services. Salt, aka Sodium or Na, on the periodic table of elements.
Exfoliates skin, balances Ph levels, reduces stress, and improves skin conditions. (Included in our foot detox and our Reflexology services)
Purifies skin, helps regulation of hydration levels, stimulates bile production and helps control heartburn. (Included as a Salt Scrub enhancement)
Gratitude & Gratuity: You are welcome to tip your therapist for the session. 15%-25% or $20 for 60 minute sessions, is customary based on your satisfaction with the service. We are grateful for whatever you are moved to give.
Preparation: We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothes. Some services are performed clothed.
Preparation & Consultation: Please avoid alcohol for 12 hours prior to your appointment. Please arrive early if this is your first appointment with us. There are a few necessary forms to review with your therapist. We will also take a few minutes to discuss your needs with the therapist.
Clothes & Hair: We recommend not coming with your hair and makeup done. Your therapist is not concerned if you have shaved your legs or have your nails done. Wear whatever is comfortable for your appointment. You will be covered throughout your massage to maintain modesty for yourself and your therapist.
Relax & Breathe: First-time clients might feel nervous, but our therapists are here to create a safe, comfortable space for you to relax and release stress. You are here to just be. We will do the rest.
Hydrate Well: Drinking water post-treatment helps flush out any toxins released during your massage. Be sure to up your water intake for the rest of the day.
Avoid Alcohol: Be sure to avoid alcohol the rest of the day after your massage. Your body is flushing out toxins, and alcohol is another toxin. It can lead to a horrible hangover.
Avoid Strenuous Activities: Give your body a break to fully benefit from the effects of the session.
Pay Attention to Your Body: Mild soreness can be normal, especially with deep tissue work. Gentle stretching or a warm bath can enhance the relaxation effects. Above all else, listen to what your body is telling you it needs and honor that.
Signature Massage: Features gentle to firm pressure and focuses on relaxation. It is the massage people think of when they are looking for a calming, soothing experience. Our Signature Massage is perfect for relaxation and reducing minor muscle tension.
Deep Tissue Massage: Uses heavy-duty pressure combined with specific techniques to target the fascia and muscles. Deep Tissue can be beneficial if you’re an athlete, workout regularly, and/or are dealing with an injury or chronic pain.
Therapeutic Massage: Features the use of additional tools and techniques to target whatever your body may need. It may include cupping, qua sha, hot stones, energy work or other modalities. It is a wonderful alternative to Deep Tissue. Our Therapeutic Massage is deeply relaxing and beneficial for chronic issues, old injuries, scar tissue, and inflammation.
Choosing Your Massage: If you’re unsure, let us know your specific areas of concern, and we can recommend what will work best for you. It can change from one appointment to the next.
Unique Essential Oil Application: Raindrop Therapy uses 8 pure essential oils applied to the spine and feet in a specific sequence. The oils are chosen for their potential to reduce tension, promote relaxation, and support immune health.
How It Feels: Expect a deeply relaxing experience that combines the therapeutic benefits of essential oils with specific techniques.
Who It’s For: Ideal for anyone looking for natural support for stress relief, muscle relaxation, Scoliosis or immune support. Raindrop Therapy is gentle and suitable for most people, but feel free to consult with us if you have specific concerns.
Natural Cleansing: A foot detox session helps stimulate the body’s natural detoxification process. During the session, you’ll place your feet in a warm salt bath with an ionic array that is designed to draw out impurities and purge your body of toxins.
Potential Benefits: Many people report feeling lighter with reduced swelling. It supports improved circulation, skin conditions and a balanced energy flow. You can expect to feel a sense of overall calmness.
Aftercare: Drink water post-session to help your body flush out any released toxins. Some clients notice immediate effects while others experience benefits over multiple sessions.
Insight and Guidance: Card readings are highly personalized experiences, but all aim to provide insight and clarity on your life’s current path. Our readers are here to create a supportive space for self-reflection and exploration.
Preparation: Come with an open mind and any specific questions if you have them. Be mindful of the energy to bring to the experience. The reading is intended to bring new perspectives rather than definitive answers.
This is also known as Vibroacoustic Therapy. It is a form of sound therapy.
Experience. This is a water bed that helps conduct vibrations through your body. The vibrations are specific hertz frequencies designed for various areas of focus. We choose one that best suits your focus for the session. You lay on the table and wear headphones to listen to the same frequency as the vibrations so you are totally immersed.
What Is It? Reflexology is similar to acupressure, it uses pressure on points related to body systems and organs. Gentle pressure is applied to specific points on the feet to help the flow of the energy (Qi) to the corresponding body parts. It is not a form of massage, but is a hands on modality.
Benefits. You will likely feel more relaxed, lighter and more balanced.
What is it? Reiki is a complementary therapy also known as energy work that reduces stress and promotes healing.
Kathleen’s Reiki sessions rely on her intuition to focus on what is relevant in each session. It may incorporate the use of crystals, singing bowls, drums, and smudging with sage and/or palo santo.
Consultation: We offer a free 20 minute consultation to help you design a custom session or package that speaks specifically to your physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
